Philip Steiner, Managing Partner
Philip Steiner is a seasoned pharmaceutical and healthcare leader with 25 years of experience in building teams, innovating and launching new business models, coaching leaders, and influencing strategy.
Philip’s industry experience spans operations, change management, sales, marketing, and global strategy. Before joining Apriori in 2016, he held leadership positions of increasing responsibility and complexity in the US, Germany, France, and Switzerland.
As CEO of the not-for-profit healthcare provider Spitex Bern, he led the successful transformation of the 450-employee organisation following significant cuts in public funding, while creating a for-profit entity for non-medical services and serving on its Board. His vision resulted in the creation of a novel business platform for the administration of ambulatory care which was adopted nationwide.
Prior, he spent 13 years with Novartis Animal Health, where he was a member of the executive team in charge of global strategy for a US$1bn-turnover business unit with 2,800 employees.
Philip holds a degree in Business Administration from the of St Gallen in Switzerland, a postgraduate certificate in the neuroscience of leadership, and studied at Harvard University as a visiting graduate student, focusing on international marketing, general management, and political science.
A strong believer in public service, Philip was an elected member of the local parliament in the municipality of Zollikofen, Switzerland, serving from 2015 – 2022.
